警方今天說，搭載巴西查比高恩斯皇家足球隊的包機墜毀在哥倫比亞，機上七十六人身亡。傳可能有三名球員生還。
巴西查比高恩斯皇家足球隊原訂明天出賽南美球會杯決賽，迎戰哥倫比亞民族競技足球隊（Atletico Nacional）。據路透社，地方警方指揮官告訴記者：「救出六人，但是不幸地其中一人死亡。其他乘客也都喪命，這起悲劇有七十六名受害人。」
查比高恩斯皇家足球隊發聲明說，要等哥倫比亞當局對昨晚墜機提供更多資訊，在此之前不會做出正式評論。巴西媒體報導，三名球員生還。這架包機昨天晚上十時十五分墜毀，當時飛機載有七十二名乘客和九名機組員。救援行動因大雨受阻，並且因而暫停。
巴西媒體報導，機上有廿一名記者。
巴西環球電視新聞網和Spor TV指認生還球員為後衛魯歇爾（Alan Ruschel）、守門員達尼洛（Danilo）和替補守門員佛爾曼（Jackson Follmann）。但無法立即證實所有生還者身份。這是查比高（Chapeco）小球隊首度打進南美重大賽事決賽。
